Entertaining….as finger food, simply cut the falafel into 4, supply some toothpicks and serve with sauces.
If you want to reduce the falafel's naturally spicy flavour serve with a mayonnaise and tomato sauce mixture.
Falafel makes a great instant snack, either cold straight from the refrigerator or microwaved 20 seconds for one ball, 30 seconds for 2 balls. Again try it with sauce, or your favourite dip.
Falafel makes the perfect substitute for meat in a conventional meal. So, whilst the rest of the family are having steak, chicken or chops you can simply microwave your falafel. and have it with salad or vegetables.
Try it in Lebanese Bread….cut up the falafel balls and spread on the bread with sliced tomato, lettuce, cucumber, mayonnaise or Tahini. Roll the bread tightly in a grease proof sheet and cut into desired length. Makes an absolutely fabulous lunch or snack. |
